Free Move Program is only available in the Dallas and San Antonio Markets

All Move requests must be submitted via email within 7 days of your lease start date

Steps to Qualify for Your FREE MOVE or CASH BACK:

To Qualify:

You must notify your agent prior to visiting communities so that we can verify if the property qualifies for our Free Move Program. Also, in the event a community requires pre-registration, our agent is capable of fulfilling this requirement.

You must have written "Free Rent Hunters and/or DJ Shreve" on

(This must be done in order to be eligible for either the Free Move offer or the Cash Back)

Your agent will send a lease confirmation to the apartment and must receive a confirmation back from the apartment management BEFORE you can be scheduled for a FREE MOVE or your CASH BACK amount can be verified. Your assistance may be needed to motivate the property manager to complete the form and get that back to us.

You cannot be transferring to a sister property or moving onsite.

You cannot have any broken leases, evictions, misdemeanors or felony convictions on your record.

The lease must be for a minimum 12 months and the net effective rent must be greater than the minimum requirements below from a qualifying property for you to receive a free move or cash back:
1. 3 Bedroom: $1300
Cash back and Move Deposits will be paid out once we are paid our commission; usually in 30 days but vary on the property management company. We have no control when we are paid so before inquiring with us, inquire with the property manager to see if they have paid our invoice and if not, when and let us know.
Remember the apartment, condo, duplex or townhome you choose MUST work with apartment locators and pay a minimum 100% commission for you to be eligible for the FREE MOVE or CASH BACK.
Cash back is 10% of the commission paid to Free Rent Hunters not to exceed $400. If no commission is paid to Free Rent Hunters, there will be no cash rebate.
Commission must be received in our office from the property no later than 30 days from the date you move in to receive a Cash Rebate or Free Move.
Any fees required by the Property Management Company for Free Rent Hunters to sign up as a vendor to be paid a commission will be deducted from any Cash Rebate or Free Move.
If the referral fee from the participating community or the minimum rental rate is below our minimum requirements, then we reserve the right to offer a reduced Cash Back or a reduced move credit/move offer in place of our full free move/full Cash Back offer

100% Free Moves Terms

Moving company will move ALL items from your current apartment to your new qualifying apartment, provided your move is within the allotted times. See #4 below.

Sorry, no free stops included.

You must have ALL applicable items dissembled, disconnected, boxed and sealed. Additional services are available and you will need pay and coordinate directly with contracted moving company for those additional services.

Your FREE MOVE includes EVERYTHING, providing your move time is within our time limits!
a. 1 Bedroom - free move limited to 2 hours or less. $250 Deposit Required.
b. 2 Bedroom - free move limited to 2.5 hours or less. $300 Deposit Required.
b. 3+ Bedroom - free move limited to 3 hours or less. $350 Deposit Required.

Deposits must be made via PayPal to freerenthunters@gmail.com. Credit Cards are not accepted.

Your 100% FREE MOVE must not exceed the allotted times. The time will be confirmed in advance by the moving company so you have no surprises. Moving company will estimate the length of time your move should take in advance, based on information provided by you.

Hourly rates apply if the move requires additional time and will be quoted to you by the moving company. Payment is your responsibility if the move goes over the allotted FREE time limits and will be due at the time services are rendered and paid directly to the movers. There may be a minimal extra charge for additional stops and/or wait time caused by you.

Your move must be booked at least 5 days prior to the move date. Some exceptions can be made depending on volume.

If you need to cancel your scheduled move, you must contact the moving company directly. Any penalties incurred must be paid by you directly to the moving company if you have violated their cancellation policy.

We simply hire a third party moving company on a contractual basis to perform the move and they are compensated directly by the commission we earn. Free Rent Hunters, its subsidiaries and agents do not assume any responsibility for any items damaged in your move. We try to hire only reputable companies that are insured and bonded. If you have any concerns or if anything gets damaged, you will need to address those concerns directly with the contracted moving company. You agree to hold harmless Free Rent Hunters, its subsidiaries and agents for any items that may be damaged.

Moving company may reschedule a move due to weather, truck break downs, or any unforeseen circumstances. If you have met the criteria and are refused service, you will be compensated with our Cash Back program instead of moving services. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

The rental rate is the effective average rent

Customer acknowledges that if for any reason a property decides not to pay our referral commission, this will constitute a retraction of our free move/Cash Back offer. Customer understands that if the apartment community does not pay the referral fee based on the guidelines listed above or for any other reason (i.e. if you skip or get evicted from the community and/or your account is not kept current), then customer will become ineligible for our incentive programs and forfeit their move deposit, if applicable.

Free Rent Hunters is proud to offer the most updated and comprehensive apartment data available online. The apartment data that Free Rent Hunters provides its customers is supplied and updated by a third party data provider. This includes all rental information, specials, availability, and all other community data that is made available to customers through our website and/or agent assistance. Although Free Rent Hunters makes reasonable efforts to ensure this data is updated regularly, we cannot and do not claim to guarantee the accuracy of this data.
